This event is the most important event on the topic of MVNOs in Latin America and is now in its 7th edition, returning once again to Mexico. This event will take place on May 17-18, 2016 at Marquis Reforma Hotel & Spa in Mexico City.
MVNOs are an instrument to stimulate mobile market growth. In Mexico’s case, it will serve as a penetration accelerator. MVNOs create value in a mature market in terms of segmentation, with offers focused on a targeted market, taking the opportunity to introduce efficiency in the value chain. The experiences of MVNOs in many countries have shown the importance of an adequate regulatory framework to help achieve optimum growth. The regulatory framework should explicitly define the rights and obligations applicable to the agents in the commercial relationship: the MVNO, the host MNO and the consumer.
