We’ve struck oil with WiMAX Oil & Gas 2014! A pre-conference session at OilComm on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at the George R. Convention Center in Houston, TX. The program will focus on supporting the Oil & Gas community in deploying effective and affordable WiMAX networks to manage profitable development and growth of their communication initiatives.

WiMAX Oil & Gas 2014 will be an interactive working event. Participation is free to attendees of the OilComm Full Conference Program and open to all participants of the WiMAX ecosystem. As big as an elephant, as tall as a giraffe … WiMAX Africa 2014 will be larger than life this year! WiMAX Africa 2014 will be held on Monday, November 10, 2014 at the DoubleTree Cape Town – Upper Eastside in Cape Town, South Africa. Last year’s WiMAX Africa event attracted over 160 attendees including 88 representatives of 56 different WiMAX operators. This year’s event will focus specifically on supporting the African operator community in developing and managing lucrative growth of WiMAX network deployments. The focus of this year’s WiMAX Africa is WiMAX Advanced: how operators can use their networks on the ground now to build a multi-technology network with WiMAX and Wi-Fi, Small Cells, and/or LTE. Seize this opportunity to gain new insights in building sustaining profitable wireless WiMAX networks in a challenging environment.

WiMAX Africa 2014 will be an interactive working event, and there is no registration fee.  As a wireless standard, AeroMACS is taking flight in the aviation industry. The WiMAX Forum is pleased to announce the first Aviation Event in Sendai, WiMAX Aviation 2014 - Sendai will be held on Tuesday, November 11 through Wednesday, November 12 at The Westin Sendai. The WiMAX Forum will have an AeroMACS field-trial tour of the ENRI Lab in the Sendai Airport in the afternoon on November 12. The meeting will also be collocated with ICAO WG-S Meeting on November 13-14. This event will focus specifically on supporting the global Aviation Community in managing profitable development and growth of their AeroMACS networks.

WiMAX Aviation 2014 - Sendai is an event for all participants to meet, exchange ideas and develop business and cooperative relationships. The event will highlight the opportunities, challenges, and strategies involved in operating efficient AeroMACS networks. This event is constructed to allow the global Aviation Community to network, share key lessons, and collaborate for the benefit of the industry. Our goal is for attending participants to gain concrete knowledge that will help them build best-in-class AeroMACS networks.
