WiMAX Forum to Host Third Annual AeroMACS Track at Wireless China Industry Summit

Continuation of networking and sharing best practices with one of the largest global markets

 

CLACKAMAS, OR - July 21, 2016 - The WiMAX Forum® along with member companies ADCC and Siemens will host the third annual AeroMACS Track at Wireless China Industry Summit 2016 on September 8 at 9:00AM-12:30PM at the JW Marriott Hotel Beijing Central in Beijing, China. The informational event is free to all Wireless China Industry Summit attendees and is designed to provide insights and developments for a broad range of critical issues related to the deployment of Aeronautical Mobile Airport Communication System (AeroMACS) networks. In addition to the AeroMACS Track, Declan Byrne, WiMAX Forum President, will also deliver a 20-minute keynote address on September 7 between 2PM and 3PM.

The AeroMACS Track will provide an opportunity for attendees to learn about worldwide deployment trends, the importance of interoperable products and certification, network and security considerations, and new and evolving applications. Industry leaders speaking at the event will also discuss how these technologies are achieving benefits for airports around the world, such as cost savings, enhanced safety and operational efficiencies.

President of the WiMAX Forum, Declan Byrne, will lead presentations and discussions to further advance the development of the AeroMACS wireless standard and requirements among key international stakeholders.
