Sprint has dropped the prices for its mobile WiMAX service to $59.99, a $10 drop from its earlier plans. The 3G/4G plans come with unlimited data on Sprint's 4G network and a 5Gb data cap for the use of its 3G networks.

The Eldorado Research Institute has developed a solution for broadband access to wireless operation on UHF frequencies below 1 GHz. Now the group works to achieve the framework of the project by the WiMAX Forum, which would classify as WiMAX solution opening new business perspectives.
