This advanced course and certification are designed for engineers and technical staff who are knowledgeable and have some exposure to WiMAX technology. (Those with no WiMAX exposure or who are not in a technical or engineering role should first consider attending the WiMAX Forum RF Engineer Certification Boot Camp course as a prerequisite.) This boot camp covers all of the necessary topics and steps to prepare students to take the WiMAX Forum Network Designer certification exam.

WiMAX Forum Network Associate Certification Bootcamp Course Brochure

This 4-day Boot Camp course covers all of the necessary topics to prepare a technical student to take the WiMAX Forum Network Associate™ certification exam. The course is designed for WiMAX technicians who require skills training to install, configure, field-test, and commission a WiMAX network.

For our hands-on labs, we employ Aperto and Telsima base stations and fixed subscriber stations as samples of WiMAX Forum Certified™ equipment, Anritsu multifunction field test sets, and WirelessLogix mobile drive test lab equipment.

WiMAX Forum Core Network Engineer Course Description

This course is a four-day Boot Camp event, which covers all of the necessary topics to prepare a technical student to take the WiMAX Core Network Designer™ certification exam. The course is designed for engineers who will be implementing the core elements of a WiMAX network. They require knowledge of completed WiMAX Forum working group specifications and skills on appropriate engineering tools. We assume pre-requisite knowledge of IP networking. The course is primarily knowledge-based, with hands-on-laptop-based interactive labs and networkdesign exercises.

RF Network Engineer Certification Boot Camp Course Description

This course is a four-day Boot Camp event, which covers all of the necessary topics to prepare a technical student to take the WiMAX Forum RF Network Engineer™ certification exam. This course is targeted at students who are planning a WiMAX deployment, and who need the skills to design the network, balancing the requirements of service quality (including throughput and performance) with minimum capital and operations cost.
