OKI Networks' BR3001 is a WiMAX USB modem fully complying with Mobile WiMAX Wave2 Profile(MP05) based on the IEE802.16e-2005 standard. It supports advanced features such as various authentications, MIMO and H-ARQ. This device can easily connect to commercial level base stations by using Connection Utility. Additionally, by combining BR3001 with OKI Networks' WiMAX Wi-Fi Gateway, terminals without a WiMAX feature, such as PCs, game consoles and music players, will be able to connect to mobile WiMAX network via Wi-Fi.
