Mobile WiMAX Certification Testing
This one-day course covers the WiMAX Forum certification process with a focus on reviewing the Certification Program Reference Manual (CPRM); MAC and PHY layer characteristics from the IEEE 802.16e-2005 standard; and certification requirements and test specifications documents. Additionally, students will learn about the test setup, testing procedures and relevant test cases analysis of Protocol Conformance Testing (PCT), Radio Conformance Testing (RCT), and Interoperability Testing (IOT).
After the training, students will have a clear understanding of the test scope, test specifications test setups and procedures, and verdicts for the WiMAX Forum Mobile WiMAX Certification process (IEEE 802.16e-2005). Relevant test cases will be presented and analyzed in detail for PCT, RCT and IOT.
This course is designed for hardware and software development managers and engineers at WiMAX vendors; operators seeking information on the testing scope of WiMAX certification; hardware and software development engineers; and certification engineers.
