Mobile WiMAX Certification Testing – Radio Conformance Testing Practical Sessions

This 1.5-day course provides an in-depth review of the WiMAX PHY layer and RCT documents and test specifications, including testing requirements and the RCT test specification document. Additionally, the course presents methodology for quality assurance during certification testing and provides students with an understanding of RCT setup.

Students will also experience hands-on execution of relevant RCT test cases using real WiMAX devices. In this practical session, relevant test cases will be analyzed and executed using real WiMAX products, the WiMAX Forum validated Protocol Radio Tester and the official testing procedures. Students will learn about pre-requisites, testing procedures, issuing testing verdicts, detailed traces, and logs analysis.

After this training, students will have a clear understanding of the PHY layer testing, test specifications, and test setups, procedures, and verdicts for the WiMAX Forum Mobile WiMAX certification process (802.16e-2005).

This course is designed for hardware and software development managers and engineers at WiMAX vendors; certification engineers; and operators seeking information on WiMAX certification testing. This class is only offered for reduced size groups (maximum of five people) at AT4 wireless facilities in Herndon, Virginia, United States: and Malaga, Spain.
