WiMAX Forum Member Conference - Taipei 2009

Dear WiMAX Forum Member,

You and your colleagues are cordially invited to attend the next Member Conference in Taipei, Taiwan at the Taipei International Convention Center (TICC), October 26-30, 2009.

In addition to the Member Conference, a three day Broadband Taiwan 2009 event will be held Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at the Taipei World Trade Center Exhibition Hall across the street from the TICC and the Grand Hyatt Hotel. WiMAX Forum has secured an outstanding sleeping room rate for this event approximately US $149 + tax that includes interent service in room. A limited number of rooms will be available at the Grand Hyatt at this special rate.

Working Group meetings will begin on Monday, October 26 and continue through Thursday, October 29. The WiMAX Forum Technical Plenary #2 will be on Friday, October 30. All members registered for the Member Conference, are encouraged to also attend the Technical Plenary.

The registration fee for the Member Conference is US $600. The registration fee includes lunch on Monday through Friday and a reception on Tuesday evening. For those wishing to attend the Technical Plenary only, the fee will be US $150. This registration includes lunch on Friday only. WiMAX Forum Member Conference Reception – Tuesday, October 27, 6:00-8:00 pm TICC 3rd Floor, 3F  -  Please join us for a special reception hosted by Industrial Technology Research Information (ITRI). This reception is open to WiMAX Forum Member Conference registered attendees.

Meals & Beverages
Coffee is available Monday through Friday at the TICC. Breaks are scheduled at 10:00 and 15:00 each day. Lunches will be at the Grand Hyatt Hotel restaurants, with the lunch break scheduled from 12:00 noon to 1:30 pm. Your badge and matching lunch ticket are required for presentation to the restaurant staff. Lunch tickets are not transferrable. You are welcome to bring family members to lunch, at your own expense.
