Sophia Antipolis, France May 16, 2007 - Telsima Corporation, a leading developer and provider of WiMAX based Broadband Wireless Access and Mobility solutions, announces its participation in the WiMAX Forum®'s third, public Mobile WiMAX PlugFest in Sophia Antipolis, France, between May 13-19, 2007. Telsima will demonstrate its leading technology edge in the Mobile WiMAX ecosystem and showcase its Mobile StarMAX base station and mobile station technology platforms.

"Telsima fully supports this joint effort by the WiMAX Forum, AT4 wireless and ETSI of hosting this last formal test for WiMAX Forum Members that will lead to initial Mobile WiMAX Certification. The second, public mobile PlugFest in February provided Telsima an open environment to remain focused on WiMAX conformance and interoperability and accelerate development of its mobile StarMAX '16e' family. This PlugFest will yield testing observations and results that will help us assess our readiness for certification", said Mathias Renner, VP Product Marketing, Telsima.

Certification of Wave 1 Mobile WiMAX products are scheduled to begin in H2/2007, with market availability of WiMAX Forum Certified mobile products expected in H2/2008. The Third, Public Mobile WiMAX PlugFest will provide an open platform to vendors on which compatibility and interoperability tests of chips, systems, and end user devices for Mobile WiMAX services will be carried out in preparation for certification.
