Dear WiMAX Forum Members,
I am writing to update you all on our social media endeavor, which shifts into the mainstream as of today (Tuesday). With the multi-pronged goal of taking our online community to the next level, giving a voice to an entire membership, and striving to set the record straight with a more proactive and dynamic dialogue, we created a microsite named WiMAXTimes.com.
This site complements WiMAXForum.org by incorporating a series of blogs, discussion forums, a Twitter feed, and current news area to give our members and others a vibrant and compelling destination to share insights, pose questions and seek timely information about 4G technologies and WiMAX developments.
We are just heading out of the gate with this open, online community, and we encourage you and your colleagues to join us - comment on blog posts by guest bloggers (industry analysts, member company executives and WiMAX Forum leadership) and contribute to the Forums to share your insights and help ensure that our organization is delivering the most accurate facts and informed perspectives. In fact, in my estimation, its absolutely critical to the success of our social media initiatives that we have members engaged as well.
If you have suggestions on how we can evolve the new site or have questions on how you or your team can become more involved, feel free to contact me by email at scenna@wimaxforum.org or by phone at +1-503-924-2926.
We look forward to your participation and helping make it a useful and enlightening destination for you and for the entire ecosystem. Many thanks, Scenna
