Abstract
This document is the WiMAX Forum® Mobile System Profile: Release 1 – IMT-2000 Edition. It is derived from WiMAX Forum® Mobile System Profile Rel 1.0 Approved Specifications (Rev 1.2.2, 2006/11/17). The content is reproduced directly from subclause 5.6.2.1 of ITU-R Rec. M.1457-7.
Scope
The main objective of this document is to provide OFDMA System Profile specification of mobile network, complementary to 802.16-2004 as amended by 802.16e-2005 standard, primarily for the purpose of certification of conformant Subscriber Stations and Base Stations (including WiMAX® Femto Access Point).

Abstract
This document specifies the WiMAX Forum® Certification Automation Test Interface (CATI). It defines the CATI physical interface and protocol of applicable messaging between the Test Equipment (TE) and the candidate WiMAX Forum Certified product. The CATI facilitates automation of the referenced WiMAX Forum conformance and interoperability test specifications to improve the efficiency of certification testing. This document may also provide guidance for Test Equipment implementation. This document specifies basic CATI functionality and is not intended to preclude vendor-specific extensions to a vendor-supplied test interface.

This document specifies the WiMAX Forum® mobile air interface system profile Release 2, for the purpose of certification of conformant Subscriber Stations and Base Stations. The profile is based on IEEE Std 802.16m and backward compatible to Certification Release 1b of WiMAX Forum Mobile System Profile Release 1 as specified in [2] and [3]. Although this document includes features related to the categorization of Release 2 devices, the details of device categorization including relevant parameters are covered in [5].
